![]() ![]() ![]() My idea is therefore to recreate this model that can be used by artists as a reference, for fanart or for three-dimensional models. So I wanted to let you know that I am persistently trying different tricks to get a model as similar as possible to the real one and I intend to share it for free to the Ratchet & Clank community as soon as it is ready (unfortunately I do not know when because it will take time and tests) because I think a 3D model faithful to the original is very appreciable. Since the model comes from simple images taken thanks to the wonderful photo mode in 4K (bless PS5), unfortunately it still has quite evident problems at the mesh level, probably caused by the fur or the recently implemented ray tracing. However, as you can see, I am using virtual photogrammetry, which as far as I know is a highly unexplored field in which I wanted to undermine myself given my previous knowledge of real photogrammetry programs. ![]() ![]() I wanted to let this amazing Reddit community know that I am currently working hard on the Rivet 3D model, as close as possible to the existing model in the video game, because I love its design and most of all I appreciate the wonderful work behind it. Hi everyone, I recently finished Rift Apart and few times in my life as a gamer I have felt so much attachment to a video game and its characters (the last one was Undertale).Īnyway I'll get to the point. ![]()
